 Lakeshore Surgery Center is a freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center dedicated to the delivery of care to patients in need of surgical services in an outpatient setting.
We make every effort to create an environment conducive to excellence and high quality in the overall management of the patient, taking into account process as well as outcome, by providing our services in a highly personalized manner, by using the most current therapeutic modalities available and by striving for the highest quality standards achievable.
In addition, we work hard to maximize service to doctors who use our facility, and foster professional satisfaction and growth for our associates.

 Our friendly, attentive and caring registered nurses are committed to making your surgical experience as comfortable as possible. We will do all we can to provide high quality services in a pleasant atmosphere. Our personalized care is directed to providing the best care before, during and after your surgery. If there is anything we can do to make your experience more comfortable, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask one of our associates.
Patients and doctors appreciate our record of safety and successful surgical outcomes. Protecting your privacy is an integral part of our job. Confidentiality is strictly maintained.
All of our associates go through continuous training in the latest surgical technology. Our nurses are certified in their areas of specialty, such as operating room nursing, and post- anesthesia nursing. They are also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Our associates will instruct you and your family or friends in home care following surgery. If there is a need, home care visits by registered nurses are arranged to help continue your recovery at home. |

7200 North Western Avenue is located at the intersection of Western and Touhy in the Rogers Park neighborhood of the city of Chicago, approximately 12 miles north of downtown.
Directions from I-94: Take Touhy East exit. The surgery center is located at the northwest corner of Touhy and Western.

 Services provided by the Lakeshore Surgery Center are generally covered by most insurance plans. However, you should review your policy or check with your insurance representative before surgery. You should be aware that your surgeon, anesthesiologist, radiologist, and clinical laboratory will bill you or your insurance company separately from the Surgery Center bill.
The Surgery Center bill covers the use of the operating room, nursing services, supplies, medications and any other materials used for your surgery.
Please bring your insurance ID card with you on the day of the surgery
Most insurance policies do not cover procedures that are considered to be medically unnecessary, such as certain types of cosmetic surgery. An arrangement for full payment prior to the surgery is required in these situations. |
